Day 1: 10/25/2027 - Depart USA

Today depart the U.S. on your international flight to Italy. (in-flight meals)

Day 2: 10/26/2027 - Arrival in Taormina, Italy

Upon arrival in Italy, you will meet your program manager, who will assist with your transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure%u2014enjoy some rest or begin exploring the Taormina area on your own. Later in the afternoon, reconvene with your program manager for a welcome cocktail and a general briefing about your program.

Day 3: 10/27/2027 - Taormina

After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour of Taormina and the surrounding area. Your private excursion begins as your tour guide greets you in the hotel lobby. Your first stop is Castelmola, a charming medieval village perched above the Taormina coastline. After taking in the stunning views, descend into Taormina, with your first stop at Piazza Belvedere, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Isolabella and the Messina coastline. You'll then have free time to explore historic streets and iconic landmarks such as the Duomo di Taormina and the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas, both showcasing Baroque style. Stroll through San Nicolò Cathedral Square and along Corso Umberto, Taormina's main pedestrian street, where you can soak up the Sicilian atmosphere, browse artisan shops, or relax at a local café. (B)

Day 4: 10/28/2027 - Iconic Godfather Tour

After breakfast, enjoy a day at leisure or join an OPTIONAL guided tour of iconic filming locations from The Godfather II. Begin at Piazza Belvedere for panoramic views of Isolabella and the Messina coastline. Continue to the scenic village of Savoca, one of the key filming locations for the movie. Enjoy free time to visit Bar Vitelli, a historic café filled with memorabilia from the film. You may wish to enjoy a local wine tasting or a refreshing Sicilian lemon granita. After a day filled with cinematic charm and Sicilian beauty, return to Taormina by bus. (B) Food and drinks at Bar Vitelli are not included and will be paid individually on-site. Access to the summit of Mount Etna is not guaranteed.

Day 5: 10/29/2027 - Mount Etna

After breakfast, meet your program manager for a full-day excursion to Mount Etna. Begin your scenic journey through the Alcantara Valley with a stop at the Alcantara Gorges, a natural wonder formed by ancient volcanic eruptions. Continue through charming villages such as Francavilla en route to Linguaglossa, known for its Baroque churches and local pastries made from almonds and nuts. For lunch, visit Barone di Villagrande, a well-known winery offering Etna wine tastings paired with regional Sicilian delicacies. (B) Access to the summit of Mount Etna is not guaranteed.

Day 6: 10/30/2027 - Agrigento

After breakfast, travel to Agrigento for a guided visit to the famed Valley of the Temples. Recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, this archaeological park is one of the most iconic symbols of ancient Greek culture in Italy. Explore the expansive 1,300-hectare site, home to impressive Doric temples dating back to the 6th century BC and situated near the sea and Agrigento's historic center. (B) This full-day excursion, including transfers from Taormina, lasts approximately 10 hours.

Day 7: 10/31/2027 - Ragusa and Modica Visit

Following breakfast, enjoy a full-day excursion to the Baroque towns of Ragusa and Modica. Start in Ragusa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can wander the narrow streets, take in architectural gems like the Cathedral of San Giovanni, and admire views from Ragusa Ibla. For those exploring the historic center and climbing the 340 steps, flat shoes are strongly recommended! Continue to Modica, known for its stunning churches%u2014San Giorgio and San Pietro%u2014as well as its world-famous chocolate, crafted using a traditional cold production method dating back to Spanish rule. (B) This full-day excursion, including transfers from Taormina, lasts approximately 9 hours.

Day 8: 11/01/2027 - Return to USA

After breakfast and check-out, transfer from your hotel to the airport for your return flight to the U.S. (B)
